General Information
Q: What time should guests arrive?
A: The ceremony will begin promptly at 12pm. Please be seated in the church no later than 11:45am.
Q: What is the dress code?
A: We would love for our guests to embrace traditional wedding attire. For the men lounge suits, morning suits and kilts are welcome. For the ladies, hats are encouraged!
Transport & Parking
Q: Is there parking at the venue?
A: Yes, there is free parking available at The Gleneagles Hotel. Parking is limited in Dunblane village. If you would like to drive to Dunblane, we recommend arriving early to allow enough time for parking.
Q: Will transport to the ceremony venue be provided?
A: We will be providing transport between The Gleneagles Hotel and Dunblane Cathedral. Please indicate if you would like to avail of the coach on the RSVP page. Information on timing to follow.
Q: Will transport be provided after the reception?
A: The reception will end at midnight. For those not staying at the hotel, we kindly ask that guests pre-book their onward transport for this time.
Additional Guests
Q: Can I bring a plus-one?
A: We kindly ask that only those listed on the invitation attend. Thank you for understanding.
Q: Are children welcome?
A: We love your little ones, but we are keeping our wedding an adults-only event. We hope you understand and enjoy a night off.
Other Details
Q: Can I take photos during the ceremony?
A: We have a wonderful team on hand to capture our day. Therefore, we kindly ask guests to refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We would love for you to be present and enjoy the moment with us. After the ceremony, feel free to snap away - we would love to see the day through your eyes too.
Q: What time does the reception end?
A: The formal reception will end at midnight. For guests staying off-site, carriages should be booked for midnight. However, guests staying in the hotel are welcome to continue the celebrations in The Century Bar.
