General Information

Q: What time should guests arrive?
A: The ceremony will begin promptly at 12pm. Please be seated in the church no later than 11:45am.

Q: What is the dress code?
A: We’d love for our guests to embrace traditional wedding formalwear - morning suits, kilts, and elegant hats are very welcome! As always in Scotland, the weather can be unpredictable, so please dress with that in mind.

Transport & Parking

Q: Is there parking at the venue?
A: Yes, there is free parking available at The Gleneagles Hotel. Parking is limited in Dunblane village. If you would like to drive to Dunblane, we recommend arriving early to allow enough time for parking.

Q: Will transport to the ceremony venue be provided?
A: We will be providing transport between The Gleneagles Hotel and Dunblane Cathedral. Details will be provided closer to the time.

Q: Will transport be provided after the reception?
A: The reception will end at midnight. For those not staying at the hotel, we kindly ask that guests pre-book their onward transport for this time.

Additional Guests

Q: Can I bring a plus-one?
A: We kindly ask that only those listed on the invitation attend. Thank you for understanding.

Q: Are children welcome?
A: We love your little ones, but we are keeping our wedding an adults-only event. We hope you understand and enjoy a night off!

Other Details

Q: Can I take photos during the ceremony?
A: We have a wonderful team on hand to capture our day. Therefore, we kindly ask guests to refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We would love for you to be present and enjoy the moment with us. After the ceremony, feel free to snap away - we would love to see the day through your eyes too.

Q: What time does the reception end?
A: The reception will end at midnight. For guests staying off-site, carriages should be booked for midnight. Those staying in the hotel are welcome to continue the celebrations in The Century Bar.
